Potash
Potash
Potash is a term used to describe various potassium-bearing salts, most commonly potassium chloride (KCl), which are primarily used as fertilizers to enhance plant growth and crop yields. Potash provides essential potassium, one of the three primary nutrients required by plants. It is typically mined from underground deposits formed from ancient evaporated seas or extracted from brine. In addition to agriculture, potash is used in the manufacturing of glass, soaps, and certain industrial processes.
